Dear Victim of Childhood #SexualAbuse; You are #WorthMore

Life lied to us; told us we were damaged. And we believed it. Experienced showed us we were not worth more than being used and abused. And we accepted it as reality. We lived as though we were damaged goods, and let ourselves be used and abused.

Tears washed our bruises. Heaven stooped down and, having knelt beside us, wrapped a warm blanket around our naked souls. Love told us we were worth dying for. This Love defines us.

Love,

Thank you, Trudy. I needed those words today, and so did someone else I talked with this evening. So healing to concentrate on these words and let them sink deep into the soul. HIS TRUTH and LOVE . . .
