Abuse Conference Featured in Local News

Two weeks ago I met with a reporter from the Elmira Independent for an interview regarding our upcoming conference. Gail Martin did an excellent job of putting onto paper, what I tried to express. (To read the article, click here.)

Gail expressed well the passion I have to teach people their true identity, rooted deeply in our Creator, and not hide the pain and trauma we experience. I’m deeply indebted to her, for a job well done, and a message well written.

The conference is for men and women, age 18 and older, and 16-17 year olds are welcome to attend, accompanied by an adult. The Promo materials have all other details.

To register, send a cheque for $25, (cost per person) postmarked before April 7, 2013, for the Early Bird rate, or $45 after that, and $50 at the door.

To cut back costs, and make lower prices possible, we will not be serving lunch on Saturday. Be prepared to slip out for lunch, or bring your own. There is a fellowship hall.

FAQ:

1.     (Q)  May I split my registration with someone else, and each attend only one day.

       (A) No. We pay for insurance per attendee, and require paperwork to reflect that insurance. The cost would be prohibitive for insurance and our rates to attend would be unreasonably high.

2.)     (Q) Will I be required to share any part of my story, or make myself vulnerable in group discussion?

          (A) No. You may share in between sessions with anyone you choose, but there is no formal sharing time
